Viking Middle School will be embarking on our first ever One School, One Book initiative. Through this initiative every grade level will be reading and completing projects for the same book. Our staff, students and families will be on the edge of their seats as we read Three Stars in the Night Sky by Fern Schumer Chapman. This book will teach our students about a young refugee escaping Nazi, Germany and traveling to America alone.
As the entire school reads this book there will be rich discussion, collaborative projects and the opportunity to meet the author. Thank you for your help and support as we continue building a community of readers at our school!
